Honestly, I’ve been stressing over writing this review because I want SO badly for my words to do Brittany and Joe justice. If you’re reading my review because you’re shopping for a wedding photographer (or other event/occasion) then look no further because you have just found the holy grail.
I initially contacted Be More Photography along with 8ish other wedding photographers through The Knot. Brittany was first to respond. She introduced herself and her company over video call and then we chatted about our lives, personalities, jobs, friends and family, likes/dislikes, relationship history, goals, etc. We had amazing conversation and really connected. I told her right off the bat that we were nervous - we’re non-stop people always working or traveling and clueless about how to plan a wedding. Sometimes we procrastinate unintentionally as busy people generally do. It didn’t help that we live out of state (in Kansas) and were unfamiliar with the area our wedding/reception venue, rehearsal dinner, and hotel were located (Cleveland/Brunswick). Brittany told us not to worry and that she would be with us every step of the way - and that she absolutely was!
There’s lots to love about working with Brittany, but I wanted to highlight a few things that are probably most important to the person reading this. First, Brittany is an incredible listener and conversationalist and takes notes on everything. She literally studied and learned the names and faces of our immediate family (both sides), bridal party, vendors, and notable guests to ensure every special moment was captured. She even joined the rehearsal dinner as our guest and fit in wonderfully amongst friends and family, none of which she had met before. Second, she went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us with anything and everything (literally everything) and did so with a genuine smile. She scheduled out the details and timeline of our wedding day far-ahead of time, which made coordinating with the other vendors much less stressful and frustrating. She would check-in with us to make sure we met deadlines and stayed on track, always asking how she can help. Third, Brittany is truly a class act and simply the best in the business. Our wedding at Mapleside Farm was perfect and beautiful in every way. Perfectly planned, coordinated, and stayed on schedule - literally because of Brittany and Joe. I didn’t have to worry about a thing on wedding day or even the week leading up to it. And OMG THE PHOTOS! We just got ours back last week and were crying happy tears and laughing for hours going through them. It was such a magical day and they captured it all - we’re beyond grateful! Lastly, I wanted to mention that given the quality of her work and the amount of time she’s invested in us, her prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. Quite honestly, I think she could up her prices and not lose any business.
My sister is about to have her first baby and for her birthday this year (June 8th), we got her a newborn photo shoot session with Brittany that she can schedule at her convenience. She’s super excited!

Without a doubt, hands down, our favorite vendor of our wedding. I truly could not have imagined anyone but Brittany and Joe photographing and joining our wedding. The photos speak for themselves; they capture our personalities, our families and friends, and our day so perfectly. The quality and delivery is unbeatable and they focused so much on the details to remember our special day. But beyond the photos (yes, we truly love every single one of them), Brittany and Joe are two of the most genuine, kind, and professional vendors we have ever met. It started about 18 months before the wedding when Brittany spent time to get to know us before even booking. We did our engagement photos with her and just knew we could trust her with everything regarding our day. Leading up to the wedding, she was there every step of the way to answer questions, provide guidance, and relieve any stress (not even related to photography!). She developed the timeline for the majority of our day and it was seamless. Brittany picked out our photo locations which were incredible. We met Joe the day of and he quickly became one of the guys. Both Brittany and Joe made us, our families, and our bridal party feel so comfortable behind the camera and made all of the photo opportunities such a blast! After the wedding, we received all of our photos in such a timely manner and in a way that could easily be shared with our loved ones. There really are no words for how talented Brittany is! She was able to be in so many places at once to get all of the shots we didn’t know we needed. “A picture is worth a 1000 words, and Brittany’s photos are worth infinite words. I cannot express how important the photographer is at the wedding, and Brittany and Joseph truly made our day even more special. Their talent is obvious in the incredible moments and beauty they capture in their work, but they also have even more to offer as they are two of the kindest people my now husband and I have ever met. My husband is not the biggest fan of taking pictures, but Brittany and Joseph helped make that end up being one of his favorite parts of the wedding. They take all the pressure and awkwardness out of taking pictures and just help you to have fun. They also are so kind for dealing with our crazy friends!!
